Rate or Slate: Elf Eye Brightening Colour quads.

I LOVE THESE. I purchased these from the eyes lips face website a while back as I was in desperate need of expanding my make-up collection.. more specifically my eyeshadows. I am the stingiest person I know and am definitely not willing to pay the money for a mac eyeshadow when I can find good quality products at a cheaper price. the quads I bought were Drama (perfect for smoky eye/going out) Nymph Dreams (absolutley gorgeous, pefect for work/school/going out in the day) Butternut (shimmery neutral perfect for daytime smoky eye) and Blue Moon (just to mix things up a bit) safe to say I have found a use for all of them. I will most certainly be repurchasing them when they run out. since I bought these I have worn some form of eye shadow every day (apart form those days where you sit in bed all day) the quality and pigmentation is amazing and matched with the ELF eye primer they last me all day/night. they only cost £1.50 per quad and admittedly you don't get a great deal of product.. but at that price beggars cant be choosers.

Rate or Slate: Maybelline SuperStay 24H Foundation

For a drug store foundation This has some good points, but does it live up to its 24 hour claims? I think not. Now admittedly my skin does tend to repel foundations but, this foundation lasts 6 hours maximum on my skin... now that's just a quarter of the time we are promised. The promises this product makes are; heat and humidity resistant, sweat resistant, no transfer, flexible, breathable, oil free - doesn't clog pores and 24 hour wear. Well where to start, the foundation transferred to my phone and also when changing my clothes, I cant say I can talk about the heat/humidity as in hot weather i choose not to wear a foundation, but this product is certainly not breathable, i feel that it clogs my pores and much like Maybelline's other foundation 'Dream Matte Mousse', it has broken me out several times over. Unfortunately due to lack of money i am unable to replace this foundation.. but when I do I will not be repurchasing this product, that is safe to say. I would recommend this product more for people with dry to normal skin, as on oily skin types such as my own it just slides away. I do not feel many of Maybelline's face products live up to their claims and this disappoints me.
I will update you all again tomorrow
Goodbye x
